Do You YouTube?

Week 8-YouTube!!

OK, so I found this when I searched "Toronto Public Library" on YouTube

I don't think this person had permission to film, but then again, maybe they did.

There's a lot of garbage on YouTube. Maybe garbage is the wrong word, let's say junk. hahaha! So sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you're looking for

Podcasts

Assignment 7 is about podcasts.

I've never listened to podcasts, but the ones I have subscribed to are:

Angel Investigations-talks about the series Angel
Cooking with Aneh- a food enthusiast
Butterball Turkey Talk-talking Turkey

Online Office Tools

I'm so behind in these assignments. I suppose it's because I'm back to my part-time 10.5 hours. Anyway, trying to catch up

Assignment 6 was Online Office Tools. I did enjoy this one. I want to play around with it more to see if I can make an interesting resume with it. I had difficulty uploading pictures, so hopefully I'll try it again.

Assignment #5 - del.icio.us.

I'm a little behind in these assignments. Too much stuff to do! :)

Anyway, my experience with Del.icio.us. was OK. I think I need to play with it a little more. I didn't enjoy having to do the toolbar button thing, and working my way around TPL's computer securities. But I can kind of see the Del.icio.us usefulness. I bookmarked The Cupcake Shoppe's website because I love their cupcakes, but I always forget their flavours!

Assignment #4 continued

I really enjoy these generators. They're easy to use, and quick to create. Very useful tools especially if you're going to be doing a display or a flyer.

Assignment #4 This was a great break!

Assignment #3 RSS and Newsreaders

I've chosen to subscribe to Rolling Stone.

Album Reviews
Movie Reviews
Photos

I didn't really have to do any copying and pasting. All I had to do was click and it was automatic off the Rolling Stone website. These feeds are useful and I like to use them for leisure.
